Beyond tax prep. Year-round advisory.
Advising business owners, real estate investors, and professionals who’ve outgrown a once-a-year preparer.
🏢Small Business Owner
You’re running a profitable business but tax planning feels reactive. You find out what you owe when it’s too late to do anything. Estimates are a guessing game or nonexistent and you’re never quite sure if you are claiming all deductions or taking full advantage of retirement options available to you.
What Changes:
I work with owners on implementing tax-saving strategies related to entity selection, elections, depreciation, income timing, and credits. This includes year-round tax planning for compensation, quarterly estimates, and retirement contributions that fit your budget, so tax season is a confirmation not a surprise.
🏠Real Estate Investor
Whether you have multiple properties in an LLC or converted your primary residence to a rental, I’m here to help maximize your after-tax returns. Short-term rental tax rules are a maze, 1031 exchange timing is easy to get wrong, and never confident you’re capturing all the depreciation available to you.
What Changes:
I identify depreciation opportunities, calculate what selling a property means at tax time, and help you navigate the complex rules around passive losses, QBI deductions, and elections available. I coordinate across all income sources to find opportunities others miss, so your portfolio builds wealth in a tax-efficient manner.
💼Professional
You earn a good salary, but between stock options, brokerage accounts, a rental, or a side business, filing your own return stopped making sense a while ago or your preparer just files using the forms provided. Your tax situation has gotten complicated enough that you know you’re probably missing savings opportunities, you just don’t know what.
What Changes:
I take the complexity off your plate, make sure your withholding and estimates are dialed in throughout the year, and find the deductions and planning opportunities that are currently being missed.
🔑Exit Planner
You’ve built something valuable and you’re starting to think about what comes next – a sale, a family transfer, a partner buyout, or bringing in key employees. A business appraisal is often necessary to transfer ownership, and there are multiple paths forward, each with its own tax implications.
What Changes:
I work with business owners on succession tax strategy in preparation for a sale. As a Certified Valuation Analyst, I can prepare business valuation reports required for gift tax reporting or for circumstances outlined in operating agreements.
A conversation covering your income sources, current tax situation, and how I operate – so we both know if it’s the right fit before moving forward.
If we decide to move forward, I’ll provide a secure link to upload your prior year return through the client portal so I can review your full tax picture before putting together a proposal.
You’ll receive an engagement proposal with one or two options based on your complexity and desired level of service.
Complete onboarding and a CPA you can actually reach between January and December.
